As all delicious things should, our Pillow Talk starts with quite the workout - our Caverna Cafe blend is whipped with sugar into a delightful soft peak meringue which we then carefully lay on top of a cold, rich glass of milk. The result is a silky treat that goes down smooth, but will leave you buzzing in the aftermath. If you find yourself particularly prone to excessive chattering, ask for decaf!

Served only by Tsukiko herself and thus only available when she is present; this cocktail challenge is served simply - five glasses of absinthe mixed with champagne, each with a progressively larger dose of 'sting.' Make it past the fifth glass to win the antidote and a tidy purse.[ Challengers will roll (/random) before each drink, hoping to reach the required breakpoint ( 100, 350, 500, 750, 900 ). Failing any roll results in a loss, and you'll be made to 'suffer' the consequences - heightened senses regarding touch, but slower reflexes... and a pounding headache in the morning. ]

The Dress Code is Not Optional.

Guests of the "Crimson Court" may wear whatever clothes they like, but they must be black - in addition, every guest is to be given a mask if they do not already have one.Hosts, Security and Companions who are not available to be taken for personal pleasure are to be masked and dressed in white. They are denoted by the '/LFM' icon.Companions who are available for private play will be masked and in red. They are identified by the '/LFP' icon.If you do not have a mask or jacket, you will be provided one. You may not enter the Court without one.

Respect the Companions.

Companions are not forced to take clients at our venue, and may decide not to go with you to a private room. Courting the Lanterns is more than just what coin is in your purse - it is your wit, your tongue and how engaging you are.Companions in white are either choosing not to be available for the night - but still participate and entertain - or are as yet unavailable as they are not listed in our little black book, a requirement for the event.

No Inappropriate Behavior, please!

The Red Lantern is a brothel and our themes are intended for adults. With that in mind, we expect guests to behave in an adult manner. Please respect that not all of our staff are sex workers and that they are in control of their own person. Please refrain from using our staff for images of a sexual nature without permission from the member in question, and please refrain from explicit conversation in /tell.While we understand our theme lends to sexual themes, we do not allow our members to be harassed - unlike "Coffee & Tease," our employees are permitted to be a little more playful, a little more physical, a little more spicy in the public eye. Their limits, however, must be respected. Thank you.

Purchasing a Companion's Time:

During the "Crimson Court", to allow both our guests and our companions to arrive and mingle, the first bell is blocked from taking companions from the floor. We encourage guests to approach the others and get to know them - you are not pressured to take someone to private.When you are prepared, you may converse with our concierge in person on the main floor or over the linkpearl provided upon your entry. If the bid offer is accepted by the companion, you may retire for the evening in one of our open rooms.Our companions are available for 100k for the evening. You may tip after your evening has concluded, if you so desire.

Does This Event Offer VIP Credit?

Yes, the "Crimson Court" is one of our events that offers VIP credit for those who are looking to become a VIP guest. Our VIP program is in place to reward those who are frequently attending our events and are by nature identifiable to the Free Company members. In general, it is not a benefit that is purchased, but rewarded.

Are there VIP-Specific Rewards?

For the "Crimson Court," at current we permit our VIPs to enter the building up to thirty minutes in advance - they are still limited to the hiring time freeze. In future, we plan to have additional VIP benefits.

Thank you for joining us! We understand that this sort of event can be a little bit of an overwhelming experience, especially if you're unfamiliar with them. These are just a few tricks and tips to help you out.While they are absolutely not required to enjoy our event, we do utilize mods in varying capacities. Some of these - known as plugins - are perfect for helping manage roleplay in large areas. We highly suggest using Snooper, Peeping Tom, and XIVLogger. Snooper allows you to make an individual window for you to better track who you are speaking to (and you can add others, should you wish) and Peeping Tom will let you know if you are being targeted. XIVLogger is very handy if you disconnect often or just like to review your roleplay - you can set it to autosave within a timeframe.We do utilize Mare at our venue and acknowledge that this can burden older machines and can sometimes lead to disconnects. We do suggest either waiting to connect to your company individually, or individually pausing those that you are not interacting with who might be slowing your system down. You can quietly connect to an individual by finding them in the Mare menu (hover over the eye), right-clicking their code and clicking pair individually. You can send them a quick 'I've paired with you privately!' to let them know to do the same. If you enjoy your privacy, consider making a secondary profile that you can switch between!Please do not be afraid to ask to dip to party chat or even whisper if they help you. While we do not permit our companions to leave the floor in the first hour of the event, you are still more than welcome to speak privately using these methods, but we ask that any such contact remains vanilla - our main areas are textually PG-13 for everyone's comfort.You may be approached by our members! You can absolutely let them know that you are just vibing if you aren't interested in participating. Alternatively, if you let one of the staff in white know that you are new or nervous, you may be introduced to someone who will keep you company in an easy manner.If you must leave, we ask that you exit through the doors. Please do not teleport.

We are not a minor-friendly venue!

The Red Lantern Society and almost all of the projects that are run - including the "Crimson Court" - are intended for adults and adults only. We ask that guests - both IC and OOC - are at least eighteen years of age. This includes NPC's. Minors will be asked to leave, as well as any guardian with them.

Respect and Patience, please!

We ask that you be mindful of other guests while you are in our venue; we do encourage our guests to mingle, but we do not condone harassment of our guests or employees. Please respect our staff; we work hard to get to every guest, but are subject to understaffing and not all of our amenities or companions may be available each week.

During the "Crimson Court", our staff is hard at work providing entertainment and company for our guests. Our guests and staff are not permitted to be nude in our open areas; the main lobby and the downstairs lounge. In addition, these main spaces are not a place for sexual interactions, not even in /tell or /party. Please dress - and behave - with respect for these rules.

What is the "Crimson Court"?

The "Crimson Court" is an event that is intended to provide a more 'mysterious' play experience for our guests. It pulls lightly from old masquerade events where the point was wealth, secrecy and the option of debauchery with no one the wiser. This is not a full event in such light, but one we hope to still be enjoyed!

For the "Crimson Court," we reward our VIP guests most often by commemorating a drink or dessert in their honor to a space on the appropriate part of the menu. In general, if you are present mostly at one event over another, we try to use that event specifically in our thanks. We do also give our VIP's priority at limited-space events..
